Evaluation Questions

Here are some questions I ponder when evaluating a service or anything we “produce” at Canvas. We have also used some of these in past and they work quite well.

1. Were there any distractions that distracted from the primary element? (speaker, worship, etc)

2. Did anything feel or appear unprepared?

3. Was everything done with quality/excellence?

4. What was the point of the message? Was it easily conveyed?

5. Was the name of Jesus elevated? (simple, right?)

These are just a few. Evaluation is done with everything. Evaluating is all about learning and improving. We should always strive to become better at what we’re doing. Mistakes happen and should be expected, after all, it’s apart of the learning process, but mistakes without learning is simply lazy.
